Football & Cheer Scholarships

The White River Jr Football and Cheer program is focused on supporting all families within our community and never want finances to be a hindrance from allowing any child to participate.  If you find that you are in a situation where you need a little assistance for your child to be able to participate in tackle or cheer, we offer a scholarship to cover the registration fee. Uniform or spirit pack costs are not covered.

Every season the White River Jr Hornets will have a Hornet strong celebration formerly known as Wolverine Strong Day or Davis Day! All proceeds go to this scholarship fund so we can continue to give scholarships when needed in honor of the Davis family.

Requirements to be considered for a scholarship:

• Briefly explain your situation in the application provided.
• Go through an Interview process with board members to determine if you qualify for the scholarship listed above.
• Commit to 10 hours of volunteering throughout the season per scholarship granted.
  • Volunteer hours can be made up by volunteering at practices, games and all other events.
